Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-19.draft-1 Draft
Proposed effective date: 2026-10-19
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of Friday API Platform (the "Service"), operated by Billionaires Technologies ("we", "us"). This is a draft pending legal review and is not yet in force for public customers.
Legal entity details: [PENDING: full legal name and registered office address]. Registration identifiers: [PENDING: CIN / GST / other registration numbers, if applicable].
Contact for legal notices: [PENDING: notice email and postal address].
2. The Service
Friday API Platform is an India-first AI API gateway. It lets you call third-party AI models through a single gateway that we host ourselves, using API keys issued to your account.
The Service includes a web console, a prepaid INR wallet, API keys, usage metering, a playground for trying models, and saved agents.
The models are provided by third-party providers. We do not train or operate those models, and their availability, behaviour and output quality can change.
3. Eligibility, accounts and organizations
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable law to use the Service. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organization.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and, where applicable, your organization.
Organization owners and administrators are responsible for the members they add and for the keys, wallet and usage of the organization.
4. API keys
API keys are credentials. You are responsible for keeping them secret, for storing them securely, and for all usage made with them, whether or not you authorised it.
Do not embed keys in public code or client-side applications. If you believe a key is compromised, revoke it in the console immediately.
You may not sell, share or sublicense keys to third parties except under a separate written agreement with us.
5. Prepaid wallet and promotional credits
Paid balance: the Service uses a prepaid wallet denominated in Indian rupees (INR). Paid balance is a prepayment for Service usage. It is not cash, not a deposit account or bank balance, is not transferable to another person, and cannot be withdrawn.
Promotional credits: we may grant promotional credits. They are tracked separately from your paid balance, have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or transferred, and are used before your paid balance. We may set conditions or expiry on promotional credits when we grant them: [PENDING: promotional credit expiry and conditions policy].
Refunds: [PENDING: refund and unused-balance policy, subject to counsel review and applicable law]. Nothing in this draft creates a refund entitlement.
Payment processing: [PENDING: payment provider details and applicable taxes/GST treatment].
6. Pricing and metering
Usage is charged according to the published rate card. Rate cards are versioned. A price change applies to new requests made after the new version takes effect and does not change the cost of requests already made.
Usage is metered per request (for example by tokens, model and cost) and deducted from your balance.
Failed requests are not charged, except as stated in the rate card or where a request was processed by the upstream provider and incurs cost as described there: [PENDING: precise failed-request billing rules].
7. Suspension and appeal
We may suspend or restrict an account, organization or API key if we reasonably believe there is a breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, a security risk, abuse of billing or limits, or a legal requirement to do so.
If you believe a suspension is a mistake, you may appeal by contacting us at [PENDING: support contact]. Appeal response times: [PENDING].
8. Third-party model providers
To fulfil your requests, the gateway sends your prompts and related inputs to the third-party model provider you select. Those providers process that content under their own terms and privacy policies, which also apply to your use of their models.
The list of subprocessors and providers is [PENDING: subprocessor list].
You are responsible for ensuring you are permitted to send the content you submit to those providers.
9. Your content and outputs
You retain whatever rights you hold in the content you submit. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the Service, such as routing your requests to the selected provider.
As between you and us, you own outputs generated for you, subject to the terms of the upstream model provider, applicable law, and the rights of third parties. Outputs may be inaccurate or similar to outputs given to others; you are responsible for evaluating them before relying on them.
10. Data
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an as-available basis. This draft makes no uptime commitment: [PENDING: any service level, if offered].
We may change, add or remove features and models, including because an upstream provider changes or withdraws them.
We will version these terms. Material changes will be notified as described in [PENDING: notification mechanism].
12. Limitation of liability
[PENDING counsel review: limitation of liability, warranty disclaimer and indemnity clauses.]
13. Governing law and disputes
[PENDING counsel review: governing law, jurisdiction and dispute resolution.]
